Should Allen Iverson Sign With The Knicks?
This will be a very brief post but I would like your comments. Should Allen Iverson sign with the New York Knicks for the season? If he does will this be the same situation as Stephon Marbury?

Major League Playoffs
The Major League Baseball playoffs are going to be starting soon. In the National League the Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Colorado Rockies have made the post season while in the American League the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and Los Angeles Angels have made the playoffs. The Detroit Tigers are one win away so they are virtually in. Who are you going for in each league and who do you think will actually win?

Kessel To the Leafs.....Worth it?
Phil Kessel was traded from the Boston Bruins to the Toronto Maple Leafs for their first round draft picks in the next two drafts and this years second round pick. In short, was it worth it? They had options.
Option 1: They had the one they chose which was two firsts and a second. Maybe they could have spread the two first round picks apart?
Option 2: Sign him to a deal that the Bruins could clearly not match. That way they keep next years first round pick and give up this years third round pick.
Option 3: The same as option one but make them take one of the defensemen they are not going to keep to clear cap space.
Option 4: Any of the previous but get some kind of worth while pick in return.
I understand Brian Burke's point of view. He has signed a lot of good potential players and did not have to give up anything in return. He also said that it was worth investing in Kessel because he scored 36 goals last year and is only 21 years old.
Was the price that the Leafs paid worth it? Would it have been better to hold on to those picks and have two number one worthy picks along with a second instead of Kessel? What do you think? Can you think of another option they could have done? Worth it or not?
